League of Legends is a real-time strategy game where you are in command of a hero from a group of dozens of unique heroes, and your goal is to destroy the enemy base. There are teams of 3 or 5, and all are player controlled. The game has a large growing population and is becoming a very popular e-sport. With so many different heroes to pick from, items to build, etc. there are some pretty in-depth strategies and discussions. LOL-OP.com was created to help you as a player become better at LoL (a.k.a. League Of Legends). There are other sites that allow you to build guides for individual characters but I have found it hard to locate a single strategy repository with information on all the different parts of LoL.

The site has several parts to help improve your gameplay:

News - In the style of blogging fashion any updates that are notable to the community will be listed here. This is a way to keep up to date on the changes that frequently occur in LoL.

Guides - This is the majority of the content. Their are guides that teach overall basics all the way up to advanced tactics. Guides cover map control and awareness, laning, jungling, team fighting, item builds, champions, masteries, rune builds, etc. - just about anything that has a strategy in LoL, you can find it here.

Replays - This section will contain replays from various sources, and some voice overs discussing the mechanics involved and the strategies that are happening. These are good learning experiences by watching real gameplay.

Forums - Forums are open discussion boards on all the different strategies involved in LOL. This is your chance to discuss something you've found works very well, as well as search for other information from others. We have mods who frequent the boards and good info will find its way into the guides.

Links - Any sites that we deem worthy to be given credit will be listed here. There are several build sites as well as reference sites that our useful and no reason to recreate the wheel.

E-Book - If you are interested, quarterly we put together an e-book which can be printed and used as an offline guide to use as you play. All of the same info that is on our site is categorized and organized in a way to maximize your playing potential.
